Buterin L’Estrange Projects contracted Vacublast to remove the unwanted white paint from the brick surface of a refurbishment project they were completing for the warehouse owner. We managed to remove 202 square metres of paint from the brick, restoring the bricks to original condition.
Given the clients intentions were to expose the brick feature walls is was critical we delivered a smooth finish without causing any structural damage to the brick. As a result, we elected to wet abrasive blast the brick surface, allowing for no etching or pitting of the brick to occur and a smooth profile to be achieved.
We were able to removing all existing white paint from the brick surface, restoring the underlying brick surface to original condition.
The client (Zach) and building owner were pleased with the finish we were able to achieve and are in the process of orchestrating our return for further paint removal of the project.
