Concrete Sandblasting Services in Sydney
Concrete sandblasting can be used to assist on a variety of concrete projects. A highly effective method of removing surface contaminants such as paint, coating and sealant, sandblasting (or abrasive blasting) is also the ideal preparation solution for concrete surfaces. The abrasive blasting process is applied to the concrete area to coarsen or texture the profile, allowing the application of protective coating to sufficiently bond to the surface. In addition, our sandblasting methodology is used to further expose surface aggregate.

The Concrete Sandblasting Process
Typically, when it comes to sandblasting a concrete surface, our clients specify either a light, medium, or heavy sandblasted finish, depending on the desired level of aggregate exposure.
Initially, we need to check, control, and eliminate any potential work hazards. This includes clearing the designated sandblasting area of any pedestrians, vehicles, or contractors currently onsite, as well as preparing and containing the environment by masking or taping surrounding surfaces.
This is all to prevent unnecessary harm or damage to surfaces or individuals in the vicinity where the concrete sandblasting will be conducted.
